Pharmaquinone®, Vitamin K2 as all-trans MK-7 is the purest vitamin available in the market: with validated isomeric purity of 100% according to US Pharmacopeia, produced by Vitasynth in its own European manufacturing site through a patented manufacturing and purification processes. Now also available in US in the organic form.
Below you can compare results of both methods for Lot #API2203-1, Lot #API2311-1 and Lot #API2304-2 to check repeatability of our production and purification technology. They are single peak both when tested with USP method and our own UPLC method. Click on the image to enlarge it.
We have tested USP Vitamin K2 (trans-MK7) method standard production lot #R142WO. The sample was noticeably less pure than our 3 regular production lots presented in the section above. You can also notice that USP method (left graph) is not selective enough to detect one impurity before the main peak.
Below you can compare USP method on the left with UPLC method. USP method can't detect all impurities for Lot #R142WO. Click on the image to enlarge it.

Our standard production batches regularly surpass the official USP method standard in purity and assay. Therefore we believe Pharmaquinone most likely surpasses all other vitamins K2 on the market.
Below you can compare another sample of the official standard to prove repeatability of our test. Click on the image to enlarge it.

Pharmaquinone doesn’t degrade during shelf life. Pharmaquinone remains a single peak.
It was suprising even to us to see that our Pharmaquinone 5% MCT oil K2 solution is still single peak after 24 months of production. Click on image to enlarge it.

A simple product – drops with D3 and K2 in MCT oil. What an unaccepted number of impurities for such a simple composition. 18% of impurities is far more than allowed level for MK-7 in EU Novel Food authorisation. Click on image to enlarge it.

This brand is using a good source of vitamin K2. We use this case to demonstrate the differences in how impurities are presented in USP and our in-house methods. One can easily notice that our UPLC method separates impurity peaks stricter than USP method. The amount of detected impurities is increased by 18 % using our method. The impurity peaks do not overlap with main peak as it is in USP method.
Another simple product - drops with D3+K2 in coconut oil. More impurities detected and better separated with our in-house method. Click on image to enlarge it.

This testing was done according to USP 46 - NF 41 monograph Menaquinone-7 (section 1 and 2) and Menaquinone-7 Preparation (section 4, with slight modification in sample preparation); total impurities parameter was added and determined to reflect the results of our UPLC method.
